Aerosmith, the legendary rock group of “Dream On” fame, has announced its farewell tour. But only time will tell if it’s the band’s true goodbye.

The “Peace Out” tour, a 40-show affair that kicks off Sept. 2 in Philadelphia, comes three years after the conclusion of the band’s last major outing — the “Deuces Are Wild” concert residency in Las Vegas. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time, according to the Aerosmith website.
